Sarah Mitchell

Sarah Mitchell has been teaching in primary schools across the UK for over twelve years, spending most of her career working with KS1 and KS2 pupils in state schools in Yorkshire and the West Midlands. She holds a BEd in Primary Education from Leeds Beckett University and a Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning.

Sarah has a particular passion for making maths accessible and enjoyable for children who find it difficult. She has led maths across her school for five years, developing resources, running parent workshops, and supporting colleagues in differentiating for mixed-ability classes. She also has significant experience in science teaching and curriculum planning across KS1 and KS2.

Outside the classroom, Sarah writes about primary education, curriculum design, and practical strategies for parents supporting learning at home.
